Construction Associate
Overview
A leading UK international law firm is looking to hire a Construction Associate to join its growing team in Riyadh.
This is an opportunity for a Saudi-qualified lawyer to build their career within a highly regarded construction practice, working alongside experienced Partners on complex domestic and cross-border infrastructure, energy and development projects across the Kingdom.
The role will focus on non-contentious construction matters, supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of major projects from procurement through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise on major infrastructure, energy and development projects across Saudi Arabia.
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of construction documentation.
- Work across EPC contracts, FIDIC-based agreements, consultancy agreements and professional appointments.
- Advise on construction management agreements, O&M agreements, framework agreements and ancillary project documentation.
- Support clients throughout projects from procurement through to delivery.
- Advise on risk allocation, contract administration, variations, extensions of time, defects liability and other construction-related issues.
Requirements
- 1–4 years' PQE.
- Saudi nationality.
- Valid MOJ practising licence.
- Strong non-contentious construction experience gained at an international law firm or leading regional practice in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction documentation.
- Experience advising throughout the lifecycle of major infrastructure, energy and development projects.
- Strong understanding of key construction and contractual issues.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
