Corporate Associate (NQ – 2 PQE)
Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Corporate Associate to join the corporate team of a leading Magic Circle law firm. The role offers exposure to premium, cross-border transactions and the chance to work with market-leading partners on complex and high-value matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and general corporate advisory work.
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements and ancillary documentation.
- Supporting on large, multi-jurisdictional transactions, including coordinating with international counsel and managing due diligence processes.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Conducting legal research and providing commercially focused advice to clients across various sectors.
Requirements
- NQ – 2 PQE
- Strong experience in corporate transactions, particularly M&A and joint ventures
- Excellent drafting, technical, and analytical skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to deliver pragmatic legal advice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working on cross-border transactions is highly desirable.
