Senior Corporate Legal Consultant
Overview
We are working with a highly regarded Saudi law firm looking to make a senior hire into its Corporate practice, with the opportunity to be based in either Riyadh or Jeddah.
The firm is looking for an experienced international lawyer who can work closely with Partners on key client mandates, while also supporting and developing junior Saudi lawyers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Partners on significant client mandates
- Advise on complex M&A and other corporate transactions
- Handle significant responsibility across major client matters
- Potentially advise across broader corporate, commercial and regulatory matters
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Support the continued development of Saudi lawyers within the team
Requirements
- Circa 10–15 years’ experience
- Ideally qualified in England & Wales, the US or China
- Strong corporate transactional background, including complex M&A
- Broader corporate, commercial and regulatory experience also considered
- Comfortable working directly with Partners and taking significant responsibility for client mandates
- Experience supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
- Ideally already based in Saudi Arabia, although international candidates with a genuine commitment to relocating and building their career in the Kingdom will be considered
